This Week at the Meehan Household...
Family Picture

Grammy with the Girls

Chubby! 9.5 lbs at 3 weeks.

He kinda likes being a Dad.

The last sponge bath before Stumpy fell out. Marie's friend, Lucy, thought that her baby brother had a raisin in his belly button, so we told Marie that Stumpy was a raisin, too. It really did look like one! Marie was eating raisins yesterday and put one in her belly button.

My little monkey.

She likes to stick her finger in Renee's binky.

My playgroup girls - Amy and Katy. We all bought the same jumpsuit when we were pregnant so, of course, we had to wear them to playgroup for a cheesy photo. Trigg is 8 weeks and Emily is almost 3 months old. They also both have daughters that are two (hence the playgroup!). We have quite a bit of fun together misspelling words and interpreting dreams.

Amy and Katy are the paparazzi.

Here I am having a little tummy time with Emily and Trigg. Amy says that I'm really good at lifting my head up.

Lunchtime.

Hi Friends and Family! We're doing great! Renee is a wonderful baby, aside from some fussy time in the morning. She has been doing great at night, usually waking 2x's to eat. Surprisingly, I feel much more rested with a newborn and a toddler than I felt when I just had a newborn. Maybe I'm just used to less sleep :-) Joel went back to work this week, and we have had lots of help from friends in the area who have brought a bazillion meals and have taken Marie for playdates and fun while Renee and I get to know each other a bit better. Joel's parents arrive tomorrow for one week, followed by my mom for another week! We are really looking forward to their company and extra hands!

We are so thankful and proud to say that Marie will be turning 2 on Sunday. She's quite the little lady. Here she is in a "beautiful beautiful dress (her words)" that Grammy Cindy made for her....

"Renee is a bear!"...

It's love...

Renee eating Daddy's face as an appetizer...

Attempting to pacify...

Playgroup...we lined the girls up to compare height.
I think our little gal is the shortest.
